We wanted a venue on the smaller side, and found this lake house in Ocklawaha. With a nice little beach, and a yard big enough for a small outside wedding, we felt this place was perfect.

While there will be some children in attendance, this is primarily an adult oriented event. There really isn't going to be much fun kid type stuff to do. Considering the size of the venue, we really don't have the room to spare.

Our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable and have a good time, so while we'd love for you to dress up to celebrate with us, suit coats and ties aren't necessary. This is going to be outdoors, but even in September it's still Florida.

You only need bring yourself! A buffet style reception, some wedding games, and music entertainment will follow the ceremony! There'll be plenty of food and drink to go around. If you'd like to bring something special, by all means you're welcome to, but nothing is required.

There's going to be an outdoor tent for the reception, but the wedding itself may get a little tricky. The current plan is to have the wedding party hold up umbrella's during the ceremony, while those attending watch from nearby reception shelter.

We know some people prefer giving actual gifts, but for the most part we are all squared away. We have more kitchen gadgets and nifty things than you can shake a stick at! If you want to support and celebrate our occasion beyond well wishing, we set up a fund that we'll be able to use for anything from the honeymoon to house hunting.
